The Club’s office at the Wyeera Pavilion is again open on Thursday’s each week. The next Board of Directors meeting will be Wednesday 10th March at 6.30 pm. Preparation is underway for the Annual General Meeting in May. End of year financials for 2009 are currently with the Auditors and it is expected that the results will show “break even” or a minor loss as a result of the high costs of security and other services on race day. Your Directors will be reviewing all costs and making recommendations to ensure the long term financial strength of the Club.
RACE DAY 2010 Planning is underway for the next race day. Racing NSW has tentatively allocated Wednesday 10th November 2010 2009 Sponsors have indicated that they wish to participate again however the Club is always open to any proposals from local businesses. In particular, we are looking to refurbish the tower on the pavilion building and would welcome financial support in return for advertising space on this significant landmark. McGrath Foundation – See “Other Events” page The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame is progressing with their “Pink Trail Ride” event. We are providing the Club’s facilities free of charge and will be encouraging all Members to support the day.
Movement Disorder Foundation – See “Other events” page A gala day is proposed to raise $100,000 to establish a base in Australia for this international cause. We are providing the Club’s facilities free of charge and will be encouraging all Members to support the day.
